The Cabin Car can travel up to 8mph. It has two speed modes; Low (up to 4mph) for use on the pavements and High (up to 8mph) to be selected when driving on the road.

There are several configurations available which provide a different level of range. 75Ah batteries provides up to 22 miles (35km) of range and 100Ah batteries increase this to 30 miles (48km). Our Standard Colours are crafted to the highest levels of quality in our ‘Smartshop’ and are currently Ice Blue, Forest Green, Cherry Red and Glacier White.

Just like when driving a real car (petrol, diesel, hybrid or electric) using the heater and lights can increase the consumption of energy or fuel, and therefore your battery levels will reduce at a faster pace. While using the heater and lights will not affect the power or speed available from the motor, we would recommend keeping an eye on the voltage gauge located on the Tiller LCD Display to ensure your batteries are in good health.

As part of the Scooterpac Promise, the Cabin Car comes with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. Unlike other mobility scooter manufactures, the warranty period begins not when Cabin Car is purchased by the dealer but when their customer purchases the Cabin Car. Items considered to have a limited lifespan including batteries, tyres and windscreen wipers are not covered.

Absolutely – the Cabin Car is designated as a Class 3 invalid carriage and can therefore be driven on the pavement and the road.

Mobility scooters are not legally defined as vehicles and therefore you do not need a driving licence.

The Cabin Car is not subject to Vehicle Excise Duty (‘road tax’). However, all new and used Class 3 vehicles including the Cabin Car must be registered annually with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).

Although it is not a legal requirement, we strongly recommended that users take out a comprehensive mobility scooter insurance policy to cover personal safety, other people’s safety, costs towards accidental damage and the value of the Cabin Car.
